My swimming boys and my beautiful Alex…
A few weeks ago, we were invited to a friend’s for a BBQ and the boys went to feed the fish in the pond (think Olympic size 8O) Anyhooo, they ended up IN the pond (who knew?
) and I got these shots of them.
You can imagine the fun we have when it’s bathtime…!

For the last few weeks, I was working on a special gift for Alex for her birthday on the 5th of Feb. I decided to put together a scrapbooking stash for her and this is what I came up with, bearing in mind, Alex’s style is totally cottagey/distressed and she loves pink

I had little jars and galvanised buckets I used to store all the stash like this:

And this was her reaction (excuse the quality - taken at night and flash never fired on all the shots
)

Checking out the goodies…hehe

I’m SO glad she liked it!
Love the shots of the boys swimming, it is way to cold here right now so I sort of got chilly looking at them in the water! lol They looked like they were having the time of their lives
Oh my gosh, what a wonderful and very thoughtful gift!! I think she more than just ‘liked’ it I am thinking she probably LOVED it!

What a super friend you are to put together such a wonderful birthday gift for your friend and we can see from the look on her face how thrilled she was to receive it..
A pity the world wasn’t filled with ’special people’ like you Gill it would then be a wonderful place to live in for everyone!
