I had to share this little anecdote….

The boys were playing, giggling and shrieking and I waited for the inevitable wail that would pierce the air as (no doubt) Matthew hurt Jason and made a run for it before Jason AKA Dracula could get to him. In the process of running from Jase, he knocked into the dining room table, hard enough for him to hop around on one foot to ease the pain. Torn between wanting to comfort him and still be stern about his bad behaviour, I casually said “See, Matthew? That is Karma biting you on the büm”. He paused and then it dawned on him….”Mommy, is Karma a big, scary monster?????”
